Bluebells Day Nursery is a small, family owned nursery and is fully booked until Summer 2026 which is testament of our fantastic reputation. Our staff mean everything to us and as employers we go above and beyond the norm. We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our team. Candidates should be enthusiastic, have excellent organisational, communication and people skills, but most importantly have a passion for working with children.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards a Level 3 via the government experience based route qualification.
Requirements:
Must have experience in Early Years education.
Have knowledge of the Early years foundation stage as well as the Ofsted requirements.
Have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
Objectives:
To assist the nursery team in providing high quality childcare.
To work with the room supervisor to ensure the room meets all the requirements set out in the Early years foundation stage.
To participate in the planning and implementation of the EYFS, providing inspiring activities that challenge children to make their next steps.
To ensure an open and honest two way communication between parents/carers, informing them of relevant aspects of nursery life and their child's development.
To ensure upkeep of the room providing a safe and welcoming environment to all children, staff and parents/carers.
To be willing to continue with your professional development by providing relevant training courses under the guidance of your manager.
To regularly review, develop and monitor the curriculum and activities available to the children, ensuring that a high standard of childcare is provided.
To ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
