Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Level 3 qualified

Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong ability to manage and communicate effectively with children and their families. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks. Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social skills and language development. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Maintain a safe and clean environment for children to explore and learn. Build positive relationships with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment that fosters professional growth. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of childcare provided within the nursery.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
