Nursery: Bright Horizons Rose Cottage Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: \xc2\xa322,268 - \xc2\xa329,994 p/a (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex

We are looking for a full time Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Rose Cottage Day Nursery and Preschool, situated in Hayward Heath. The local Train Station is a 2mile drive from the nursery and we have free carparking facilities for staff too!

The Nursery have their very own furry friends that consist of Goats (Lola and Coco), Chickens, ducks (Quaky and Quickie) Guinea pigs (toffee and Popcorn) and gerbil\xe2\x80\x99s (Bobby and Marley) this is a great way for children to learn about nurturing and their induvial needs to take care of the animals.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing
  • Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
  • Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning
  • Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for
  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check
