We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial part in the growth and development of young minds.
Duties
Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development across various areas, including language, social skills, and physical coordination.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and ensure a supportive environment.
Manage daily routines and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Support children's emotional and social development by encouraging positive behaviour and interactions.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, sharing updates with parents as necessary.
Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity and promotes equality.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and contribute to a positive team culture.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or early years education is essential, demonstrating your ability to manage groups of children effectively.
A background in leadership within a nursery or similar environment is advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English are required to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
A passion for early childhood education, along with the ability to inspire young learners through creative teaching methods.
A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
