Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will be responsible for supporting their development through engaging activities and effective communication with both children and parents.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Communicate effectively with children to encourage their participation and engagement in activities. Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Build positive relationships with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and well-being. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions. Support children in developing essential skills such as sharing, cooperation, and independence. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and overall environment.

Experience

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children and parents alike. Leadership qualities are preferred to help guide less experienced staff members when necessary. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being is crucial for success in this role.
