Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team at Kites Nursery located in Caerleon. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing and educating young children, ensuring their well-being and development aligns with our mission of fostering happy, healthy learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in the nursery setting. Develop and implement engaging developmental and educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs. Foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's growth and learning. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with the team. Completing regular observations and assessments. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery. Support children with SEN as required. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications

A minimum of Level 3 CCLD or CCPLD or equivalent. Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and growth. This position is subject to a clean DBS and two satisfactory references.

Pay: From 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 28.5 - 42.5 per week
