We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills while fostering the developmental needs of children in a professional setting. The ideal applicant will have experience with children, childcare, and nursery environments, along with strong communication skills in English.
Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods ensuring their safety at all times
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Assist in the development of curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans when necessary
Skills
Excellent communication skills in English to liaise confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
Ability to organise activities that are engaging, educational, and inclusive
Compassionate nature with a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and learning
