Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being in a nurturing environment.

Duties

Provide attentive and compassionate care to children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Manage daily routines, including feeding, nappy changing, and nap times. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development milestones. Drive initiatives that encourage children's social skills, creativity, and independence. Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and stimulating nursery environment. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.

Requirements

Relevant Level 3 qualifications in Nursery or Early Childhood Education are essential. Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Leadership qualities to guide and support junior staff members when necessary. A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
