We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children aged 0-5 years. Duties
Provide high-quality care and education to children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Develop and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive team atmosphere.
Supervise children during playtime and other activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
Support children in developing their social skills through group activities and individual interactions.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Ability to drive may be beneficial for transporting children or attending off-site activities.
