Nursery Nurse - Level 3



The warm and friendly team look forward to welcoming a new Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, assisting them in giving our children the best start in life. Our long-standing staff team make us very proud, some of our staff have been here for several years! Stork Day Nursery is well placed for easy commuting from Leicester, Nuneaton, Coalville and Coventry.

What to expect as a Nursery Nurse/Educator



As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND needs. Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps. Ensure we encourage and praise children's development and achievements.

Essential Criteria


Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education. - Previous experience working in a nursery setting. - Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Proven track record in delivering not just high-quality care but a truly child-centric mindset. This role requires written formal report writing on a frequent basis, so the candidate should already hold this skill. Paediatric First Aid Certification.

Desirable Criteria


Computer Literacy, SEN Training, Equality and Diversity Training

Applicants must also undertake an enhanced DBS check or be subscribed to the update service. Successful candidates will be required to provide two references and copies of training certificates.
