Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within the nursery.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive nursery environment. Lead by example, demonstrating excellent childcare practices.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a small team when required. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience for children and families. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
