Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team working with under3's. The ideal candidate will have experience in early years care within a nursery environment and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering their growth and learning.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged under 3 in the nursery setting. Contribute to the caring, happy, reassuring environment that is part of our ethos. Understand the need for positivity within the workforce to ensure the very best environment is created for children and team members. Enjoy being outdoors so that children can engage with the natural world. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements, areas for development and daily experiences using iConnect ( training provided). Support children's social and emotional development by encouraging positive behaviour and interactions. Provide reassurance to parents by ensuring that handovers are professional, caring, informative and appropriate.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare with the ability to engage effectively with young children.
