We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.
Duties
Provide nurturing care and support to children aged 0-5 years in a nursery environment.
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating findings to parents and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and families through effective communication.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their development and well-being.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 - 42 per week
