Job Description

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting. As a key member of the early years' team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality care and learning opportunities for children based on their needs and interests. Under 2's experience is desirable, although not essential.

To work term time only as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn. To build and maintain strong partnerships with parents to enable children's needs to be met. Contribute to the effectiveness of team work. To be a role model and be able to showcase high quality practice with regards to individual and group work with children. Experience of providing support for children with additional needs.

Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent Proven experience working with children in a nursery setting Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents Ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills in a childcare environment Knowledge of child development and best practices in childcare Proficiency in English
