Nursery Nurse

We are working with an independent children's day nursery who are currently looking for a Nursery Nurse for their nursery setting in Lewisham.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a level 2/3, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months nursery setting experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices.

Nursery Nurse - Position Details

Your role will include:

Supporting and extending children's learning, development and educational outcomes Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation and provision of activities Carrying out observations and evaluations Planning and providing next steps to support children's development

What you will need:

A level 2 or level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioners qualification or for unqualified Nursery Assistants a minimum of 12 months Early Years nursery setting experience An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems An understanding of planning, observing and record-keeping procedures Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
