Tern Valley Day Nursery is a brand new, bespoke built Nursery on Tern Valley Business Park. Our objective is to provide a safe, caring, secure but loving environment for every child, themed with fairy tale friends to inspire imagination and wonder.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team at Tern Valley Day Nursery. This role is vital in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will play a key role in supporting our mission of providing exceptional early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Create engaging and stimulating activities that promote learning through play. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Work as part of a dedicated team to uphold nursery policies and procedures. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Level 3 or 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (mandatory). Experience working with young children in a nursery setting (preferred but not essential). Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles (mandatory). Excellent communication skills (preferred). Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team (preferred). A passion for nurturing children's growth and development (preferred).
