Job Title: Nursery Nurse
Must have level 3 in childcare!
I want to work with you and around your routine, we have a position for a Thursday and a Friday. We have a lovely small team and we all work really well together I believe I am a very understanding boss and will support my employees anyway I can. Medical appointments can be taken anytime during the week and holidays start at 12 days from April to April(any holidays booked already can happily still be taken as paid leave) All bank holidays are paid and not taken out of holiday entitlement . Cash prizes to be won with fun competitions in the nursery during Christmas/ Halloween and other times.
Job Summary:
Thursday -Nursery Nurse for my lovely baby room, we don't have anymore than 6 children on a 1:3 ratio as i believe we get the most out of our children that way. Friday - 2-3 Room 1:4 ratio no more than 8 children in our 2-3 Room. you will be a part of both baby room and toddler room staff. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in the care and development of young children. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Your passion for early childhood education and your ability to communicate effectively with children and parents will be key in this role.
Duties:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Provide basic care, such as feeding, changing diapers, and ensuring hygiene
- Plan and implement educational activities to support children's development
- Monitor children's progress and communicate with parents about their child's day
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery setting
Skills:
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Leadership skills to guide and support children
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Previous experience in childcare is a plus
