We're looking for friendly, reliable

Nursery Practitioners

to join nurturing teams across local nurseries we are supporting. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead play, support learning, and help children feel safe, seen and inspired every day.

What you'll do

Create welcoming, stimulating play spaces and deliver age-appropriate activities that follow the EYFS. Supervise and care for children across the day - mealtimes, naps, personal care and play. Observe and record children's progress, building evidence for learning journals and sharing updates with parents. Deliver planned learning activities that develop communication, physical, emotional and social skills. Support children with additional needs and make reasonable adjustments. Maintain a safe, hygienic environment and follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures. Work closely with colleagues to handover information and keep the nursery running smoothly.

What we're looking for:

Level 3 early years / childcare qualification. Experience working with young children (nursery, pre-school, childminding or related). Strong understanding of safeguarding duties and child development (training provided/refresher offered). Good communication skills with children and parents; a warm, patient manner. Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team. Enhanced DBS required (we can support applicants through this if needed). Paediatric first aid and Level 3 desirable - training offered for the right candidate.

Skills you'll develop:

Practical experience planning and assessing against EYFS outcomes. Confidence supporting children with SEND and diverse learning needs. Leadership skills leading small groups and stepping into room-lead duties. Professional record-keeping, parent engagement and multi-disciplinary working.

Pay: 12.71-14.01 per hour
