We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring their safety and happiness while fostering their growth through engaging activities.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all areas. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual development plans. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a supportive environment. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early childhood education. Support the nursery team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment that meets health and safety standards. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience for children and families.

Requirements

A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is preferred. Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to engage with children at their level. Ability to drive initiatives that improve nursery operations and child experiences. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education is advantageous.
