We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, supporting children's physical, emotional, and social development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and foster a sense of community within the nursery. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages participation from all children. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour management strategies within the nursery setting.

Experience

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children.
