The candidate will join a highly enthusiastic and well-established team within our Phoenix Nursery. The successful candidate must be able to provide a caring and stimulating environment for all children within the setting. The candidate must be able to support the nursery manager in delivering the early years curriculum to all of the children.

The role is for a Nursery Playworker to work in our Phoenix Nursery setting. For the successful candidate, we can offer:

Who are we looking for?


The applicant must be motivated and have a positive attitude, and be able to facilitate development through play, promote inclusion for all children within the busy nursery and hold the relevant qualification.
The successful applicant will work alongside senior practitioners in the daily operation of the nursery.Creating a happy and safe environment for our children to flourish. Ensuring children's individual needs are met Providing high-quality care and education Deliver stimulating activities that promote children's learning and development.

Our Values

The Governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a fixed term Nursery Play worker role within our Phoenix Nursery team to start 6th January 2026. The role is initially on a fixed term contract to run until 31.12.2026. The role will be for 32.5 hours per week term time only.
