Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and fostering a nurturing environment for children. Your ability to communicate effectively in English and manage daily nursery activities will be essential in ensuring the well-being and development of the children in your care.

Responsibilities



Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across various areas, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children within the nursery. Manage daily routines and ensure that all children are supervised at all times. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery setting. Support children's individual needs and encourage their independence through play-based learning. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur during nursery hours.

Experience



Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
