Company Overview

Located near Godalming, in a purpose built building, we give a home from home experience for children in our care. We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our bank team.

Operating hours:

15 - 28.5 hours per week 8am- 1pm, 1pm-6pm, or 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday 50 weeks per year. 2, 3, 4 or 5days per weeks.

Requirements of the role of Nursery Practitioner:

A minimum of a

level 2 NVQ qualification

within childcare

Sound understanding of the EYFS as well as the understanding of child development and of children's needs.

Always willing to pop on your coat and accessories to get outdoors and have fun while the children learn.

Confident in completing observations and carrying out planning for your key children

Work as part of a team - contributing to the success of the nursery

Position dependent on clear DBS check along with 2 satisfactory references.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or related fields. Experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong understanding of special education needs and strategies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children and parents. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Knowledge of child development principles and practices. Experience working with children with disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
