Nursery Practitioner 1:1 Care
Job Description
We are looking a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Nursery Practitioner to support a child who benefits from additional help in our Tring setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity with real prospects for career development and will include additional training to support you within your role.
The working hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8-6pm
Your Key Responsibilities:
Work with one child providing attentive, nurturing care and recording their development progress.
Plan and deliver planned activities that align with child's individual targets and support plan.
Adapt the resources and environment to meet child's needs.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children, families, and staff.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting open communication and teamwork.
Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
Work with other agencies involved to provide holistic care.
Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the setting.
What We're Looking For:
Full and relevant
L3 desirable but can be
unqualifiedwith willingness to train
. A clean enhanced DBS check (we will arrange this for successful candidates) and employee references. Genuine passion for early years education and providing high-quality childcare Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to children's safety Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A creative, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to working with young childrenWhat We Offer:
