Nursery Practitioner - Apprentice, work towards level 3 Childcare and Education

Happy day days nursery is a private nursery - home from home environment based in a small town called Kirton - Lindsey approximately 8 miles from Scunthorpe. We provide excellent Care & Education for children aged 0-11 years in the community & surrounding villages.

The nursery is open Monday - Friday 07:30 - 18:00. 51 weeks of the year - closed 1 week between Christmas & New Year & all Bank Holidays.

Main purpose of the job: Responsible for providing a high quality care & education provision within the statutory framework, EYFS and other relevant legislative guidance.

Job scope:

We are looking for a happy nurturing nursery practitioner who is passionate about working within Childcare, must have experience of working with 0-5 years - with preferred experienced of working with babies 0-2 years.

To provide high quality care & education for all children. Work within a team to provide children with a safe & stimulating learning environment with excellent opportunities to meet their learning goals.

Planning & preparation for activities & carry out ongoing assessments of children's progress & track their development. keep all daily records up to date that fulfil requirements as laid out in the Early Years Foundation Stage and general house keeping duties.

To work in partnership with parents & multi agencies to enable all children to achieve their best possible outcomes in Early Years.
All candidates must be honest, reliable & flexible at short notice.

Contract hours: minimum 25 hours per week based on a weekly rota

Training wage for first year

This post is available for school leaver 16 year plus - there is no age limit.

All candidates will undergo a DBS and must not have any convictions and be available to provide 2 references.
