Bristol Childcare is an established family-run business with three nurseries across Bristol. We care for our staff so that they can care for the children.

We are recruiting for a nursery practitioner to join our babyroom (under twos) team at The Priory in Filton. The role is full-time: 40 hours per week, year-round. The nurseries are open from 7.30am until 6pm and candidates must be available to work their shifts (usually 8 hours, including paid lunch break) during those times.

Ideally you will have a full and relevant childcare qualification, but we will consider applications from those without qualifications, for the person with the right skills and passion for the role and working with under twos.

Getting to The Priory is easy - it's on lots of bus routes and there is staff parking on site and safe places to leave bikes.

THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly team in our busy and thriving, but homely, nursery. You will work with the under twos children as part of a team setting up an engaging environment; responding to the children's needs; working with families as a Key Person and observing, assessing and supporting each child's development "in the moment".

YOU WILL NEED

A sense of fun and a love of working with children.

Good communication skills with children, parents and colleagues, and the ability to work in a busy environment.

An approved Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, if possible.

Experience with under twos would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will also actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring nursery policies and procedures are observed at all times. ?
