Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate bank Nursery Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will support their development through engaging activities and play, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. The ideal candidate will have nursery experience working in early years however not essential and must hold a level 2/3 in early years. The bank posistion is 0 hour contract however regaular hours will be avaliable to cover annual leave and sickness.

Responsibilities

Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive nursery environment. Support key workers and their responsibilites Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery space, adhering to health and safety regulations. To complete online training courses on Noodle Now and attend other training such as Peadiactric First Aid. Attending staff meetings when require outside of opening hours.

Experience

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
Pay: Up to 12.31 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 39 per week
