At Duns Community Nursery, we believe every child deserves the chance to explore, play, and learn -- whether it's daily adventures to the playpark, woodland walks at Duns Castle, or special trips further afield. To help us keep delivering this, we're looking for enthusiastic Bank Nursery Practitioners to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis.

With enrolment growing -- and a buzzing 0-5s holiday club -- we need additional friendly faces who can pick up shifts that suit them. Whether you're looking for regular hours or the occasional day, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

Keep our children safe, happy, and engaged Deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development Build great relationships with parents, carers, and the team Keep accurate records and uphold high standards of care Bring warmth, creativity, and energy to everything you do
We'd Love You to Have:

A recognised childcare qualification (SCQF Level 7 / SVQ3 / HNC or equivalent) Knowledge of Pre-Birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence frameworks A genuine passion for working with young children Team spirit, good communication, and strong organisational skills
Even Better If You Also Have:

Experience in early years settings Understanding of child protection and safeguarding Experience supporting children with additional needs
