We are seeking a dedicated and passionate qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team as bank staff to help cover annual leave. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for young learners.
Duties
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of each child.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
Support the management team in maintaining nursery standards, policies, and procedures.
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs.
A valid driving licence is advantageous due to our location and public transport being infrequent.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
