Kattz Kidz Day Nursery is a home away from home setting based in a lovingly restored period property in the heart of in Letchworth Garden City. We offer children and their parents an exceptional standard of care in a calm and nurturing environment delivered by excellent childcare practitioners.

The Role

We are looking to recruit Nursery Practitioners who really want to make a positive impact on the vision and development of the nursery. The role requires the individual to be extremely motivated and passionate in their drive to deliver outstanding childcare and education.

Our bank staff are required to be flexible within their role and able to work different hours, as required throughout the week.

The responsibilities include:

Ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. Plan activities tailored to the children's individual needs in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities. Keep up-to-date with innovative ideas and trends for child care. Maintain staff ratios within their rooms. Implementing and reinforcing the policies, procedures and processes within the setting Create strong links with parents by providing them with the information, support and communication that is required.

Experience & Skills Required:

Significant and recent experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Exceptional knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Health & Safety legislation. Outstanding implementation of the OFSTED standards. Working as part of a team with shared responsibilities
Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure. References and other checks will be taken up.
