Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in the nursery setting
Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and wellbeing
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and monitor individual progress
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's development, behaviour, and daily routines
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the nursery
Assist in the organisation of nursery events and outings, including driving when necessary
Demonstrate strong management skills by overseeing daily operations and supporting junior staff members when required

Qualifications
Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
Good understanding of safeguarding and EYFS
Strong communication skills
Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
Warm, caring, and reliable approach to working with children
