Acorns Nursery, Eldwick, Bingley, West Yorkshire

Hours:

7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (with one weekday off)

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. As a key worker, you'll help support children's development, wellbeing, and readiness for the next stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities Monitor and support each child's development, keeping accurate records Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Ensure adherence to safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies Work flexibly across the nursery, supporting colleagues as needed

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare At least 1 year of experience in a nursery or early years setting Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Warm, reliable, and committed to high standards of care
