A highly competent and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner is required within an "Outstanding Nursery" based in Birmingham, West Midlands. The nursery is looking for a Nursery Practitioner to provide the best possible care and education, as well as ensuring the highest standards in a safe and secure environment, where children are valued as individuals through a loving, caring and child - centred approach. The nursery caters for children age 2 to 5 years old and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of services to the surrounding community. An opportunity not to be missed!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To provide and promote a safe, caring and stimulating environment, which caters for the needs of the children and colleagues within the Nursery Ensuring children have access to learning opportunities throughout their time at the nursery Following policies and procedures, including knowledge of the EYFS framework. Key children - following closely the development and progress of these children, developing strong working relationships with the parents and communicating about the child's development on a daily basis Maintain a clean and safe environment for children and staff Be responsible for a group of children, ensuring their personal and development needs are met and monitored, through planning, observations and by producing regular reports.
You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

Level 3 qualified or above in Childcare/Early Years Previous experience working within a similar environment preferred but not essential Working knowledge of safeguarding aspects Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to liaise with and develop good relationships
