Job Summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our busy nursery. We are a small, independent nursery striving to offer outstanding and inclusive provision. Ideally this would suit someone who is looking to develop their leadership qualities.

The right candidate must;

Be confident in their EYFS knowledge; Be confident in their Child development knowledge, using Birth 2 Five Matters and be proactive to be able to provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for your allocated key children and for all our children. Training will be given on Blackpool Reflective Checkpoints assessments and Next steps if necessary. Have good knowledge of safeguarding procedures. Have a positive attitude and an ability to work as part of a team. You must be prepared to continue to learn; personal development is a must within our setting. Be confident to work alongside other professional agencies who support the nursery team as we strive to meet the individual needs of every child. Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification for example NNEB, CACHE Diploma or NVQ, L3 EYE and Nursery experience within the last 5 years is essential.

Working hours are 7 - 35 hours per week, (over 4 or 5 days) between 7.45am-5.45pm. This position will be term time only, with the possibility of some hours in the holidays. Pay is minimum wage with bonuses. Uniform is provided.

The recruitment process will involve a face to face interview. The successful candidate will then be invited for a play and observation assessment within the setting. An enhanced DBS check will be required alongside 2 acceptable references.
