We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they thrive both socially and emotionally.

Duties

Provide high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Manage daily routines, ensuring the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming. Support children in developing their social skills, independence, and self-esteem. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational programmes and overall quality of care.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
