We are looking for someone with a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish. As one of our Nursery Practitioners, you will have the unique opportunity to influence the development of young minds while ensuring their well-being is always prioritised.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring activities that promote learning and development across all areas. Build positive, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met. Observe, assess, and document children's progress, keeping accurate developmental records. Support the management team in building and upholding high standards of care and education within our new setting. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare environment is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership abilities to guide and support junior staff members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site journeys or outings. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where children can thrive.
