We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality childcare and early education, ensuring that each child feels safe, valued, and engaged in their learning journey.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's needs and progress. Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and nap times. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress. Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their confidence and self-esteem. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organised nursery space. Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with children and parents. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude. Leadership qualities to guide less experienced staff members when necessary. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the nursery environment.
