Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage daily activities will be essential in fostering the development of each child in your care.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Manage daily routines, ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's individual needs. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and respected. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and overall experience for children and families. Collaborate with other practitioners to share best practices and improve service delivery.

Experience



A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others within the team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. A passion for childcare and commitment to supporting children's development through play-based learning is crucial.
