Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing daily activities and communicating effectively with both children and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere focused on the best outcomes for children. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring all children's needs are met.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine drive to support children's learning and development through engaging activities. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for childcare combined with patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
