We are a privately run day nursery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and are looking for someone with a childcare qualification or willing to work towards a level 3.

The successful applicant will hold a relevant and recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare and will be employed on a full/part time basis.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

To participate in providing a caring, safe, learning environment for children/babies.

Be aware of the signs and symptoms of possible abuse and to report all concerns without delay.

To promote the child's physical, emotional and social development.

To assist in the provision of all child care activities.

Maintain good standards of hygiene for all children/babies.

Work as a team, building good relationships with children, parents and staff.

To have a good working knowledge of the Nursery and its policies.

Work within the guidelines and have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Attend regular staff meetings and training programme.

Promote the good name and reputation of the Nursery both externally and through good relationships with parents and prospective parents.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.65 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
