Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our thriving team, we are looking for a hard working, bubbly and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to care for children aged 2 - 12 years, who can create a positive atmosphere for the children, making them feel comfortable and excited to learn.

As a childcare professional , your primary responsibility will be to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care. You will play a crucial role in their development by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote their physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.

In addition to your passion for working with children, you will need have excellent organisational skills. You will be responsible for planning activities and recording your findings making it easily understandable for both children, parents and caregivers.

You will have opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young children. Your dedication and commitment to their well-being will contribute to their overall growth and happiness.

You will work alongside a team of professionals who share your passion and values, creating a supportive and collaborative work environment.

The successful candidate must have at least a level 3 CCLD certificate OR equivalent to be considered for this role.

The candidate will need an excellent understanding of child development, be confident in planning education activities which differentiate between ages and abilities.

To succeed as a Nursery Practitioner in our organisation you will be: -



Passionate about child development. Have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills Have a passion for life long learning Friendly, nurturing and welcoming. Flexible and reliable. Clean Ehanced DBS Driver (desirable but not essential)
The successful candidate will need to be able to work in a busy environment individually and as part of a team.

Full-time Hours - between 8am and 5.30pm, 5 days a week

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend to the children's individual needs, and implement related personal programs, including social, health, physical, hygiene, and first aid and welfare matters Supervise and support children ensuring their safety and access to a creative, nurturing learning environment. Establish good relationships with children, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs Promote the equality, inclusion and acceptance of all children Encourage children to interact with others and engage in activities led by the leader. Encourage children's independence in line with the Reggio Emilia & Montessori approaches.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 11.44-13.00 per hour
