We're looking for kind, enthusiastic, and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our lovely team at Little Jems Nursery.
Little Jems has been part of the Carlisle community since 1988, offering a safe, nurturing, and homely environment. Our nursery is based in two beautiful, listed terraced houses just a short walk from the city centre, and over the years we've built a fantastic reputation for our caring approach and loyal, long-standing team of staff..

About the Role: We're looking for someone who is hands-on, fun, and full of ideas, and who enjoys creating exciting learning experiences for children every day.
You will:
Help keep children safe, happy, and supported Provide fun, engaging play experiences suited to each child's age and stage Observe and support children's learning and development Plan activities in line with the
EYFS framework
Keep children's records up to date Build positive relationships with parents and carers Support inclusion and children with additional needs Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policiesYou Might Be the Perfect Fit If You:
Hold a
Level 3 Childcare Qualification
Have a good understanding of theEYFS
Are confident in safeguarding practices Enjoy working closely with children and families Are caring, patient, and family-focused Love being part of a teamJob Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months
Pay: 12.31 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
Work Location: In person
