You will be working in a full daycare Nursery for 0-5 year olds

Job description:

. To be a reliable, co-operative and flexible team member.

. To work under supervision to create a calm, happy and organised environment, whilst ensuring its stimulating and attractive for children

. To adhere to policies and procedures at all times

. To develop excellent communication with parents/ guardians, encouraging involvement in their child's development.

. To maintain a high standard of health and safety in the room and nursery.

. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery.

. To be committed to a positive approach towards equality and diversity at all times.

. To always set a good example to the children and other staff.

. To ensure children's records are kept and maintained.

. To provide play and learning opportunities inside and out, and to enhance, extend and support.

. To help create and maintain the areas of learning and play.

. To support the children's individual needs through in the moment planning and ensure the environment promotes the children's welfare, in conjunction with New Century Nursery planning procedures.

. To attend training and staff meetings when required.

. To ensure the safeguarding of children is paramount.

. To maintain all daily/ weekly records.

. To help the nursery meet the EYFS statutory framework.

. To Familiarise self with all relevant documents and guidance, and keep up to date with current practice and procedures.

.Ensure correct ratios are kept at all times.

. Carry out any other duties in the nursery as specified by the Manager and supervisors.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
