We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and nurturing relationships.
Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and adherence to policies and procedures.
Support the management team in leading the nursery staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practices in childcare.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
