Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a small but busy nursery in the heart of the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and providing a nurturing environment for their development.

Duties:
- Engage children in educational activities and play to support their learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate leadership skills in managing a group of children within the nursery setting.
- Provide high-quality childcare in line with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.
- Create and maintain an organised and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
- Drive continuous improvement in childcare practices and contribute to the nursery's success.

Requirements:
- Proficient in English language skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff effectively.
- Leadership qualities would be desirable.
- Qualifications in childcare, early childhood education.

Minimum of SVQ level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritising child welfare and safety.

PVG and SSSC registration are a requirement for this position as well as at least two references, one being from most current/ last employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
