Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and learning through play and structured activities.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community within the nursery. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to develop effective strategies for managing behaviour and supporting children's needs. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills



Strong management and leadership abilities to guide and support a team of practitioners. Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to drive is advantageous for potential outings or transportation needs related to nursery activities. A caring attitude towards children with the ability to build trusting relationships. Strong organisational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive atmosphere within the nursery. Pay: 25,500.00-29,000.00 per year
