Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to manage and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. This role is essential in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our nursery setting. Childcare as part of the package. WILL NEED A LEVEL 3 IN CHILDCARE. (TERM-TIME CONTRACT CAN BE OFFERED) ALSO NOTE WE ARE A PRIVATE DAY NURSERY, 7.30 -6.

Duties



Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, tailored to the individual needs of each child. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. Manage daily nursery routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play. Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive team environment that supports the nursery's goals. Drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences and foster a love for learning. Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.

Requirements



A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential, r LEVEL 3. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development is crucial. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members. A valid driving licence would be an advantage.
