Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

A relevant childcare qualification ( Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent). Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles and the EYFS framework. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to use your initiative. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth. Enhanced DBS check required prior to employment. Part time hours to be discussed upon employment, must be minimum three full days.

Pay: 26,166.40-27,759.93 per year
