Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Nursery Practitioner will work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care and education are provided.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning. Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring effective communication with parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that supports the needs of all children. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills

Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively. Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities. A nurturing attitude combined with the ability to create engaging learning experiences for young children.

Pay: 12.30-12.50 per hour
