Working Hours & Shift Pattern



This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis. Shifts fall within standard nursery opening hours and include regular breaks. No weekend or late-night working is required, offering excellent work-life balance and consistency.

Key Responsibilities




Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework Support children's learning, development, and emotional wellbeing Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences Observe, assess, and accurately record children's progress Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are always upheld Contribute to room planning, documentation, and reflective practice

Requirements




Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential) Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures Warm, caring, and child-centred approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to create engaging and supportive learning experiences Commitment to continuous professional development and best practice Suitable for candidates seeking Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, or Childcare Practitioner roles
